Thomas cook partner with International Street Soccer Association ISSA

The ISSA have been developing a street skills soccer program for Thomas Cook over the last few months which was launched at Thomas Cook headquarters in late December.  The program  “Street Skills” Sunstar soccer camp program will be starting in the Summer of 2010 in Thomas Cook hotels across the Mediterranean . 

The program will see Sunstar soccer coaches undertake the ISSA Creative skill Development Course and then a rigorous coach selection process where the ISSA will hand pick the very best coaches alongside Thomas Cook to deliver the program at the resorts.
 
Sunstar “Street Skills” will involve fun street soccer sessions in resort, where kids will play fast paced street soccer games and learn some of the latest moves in the game.  The program will also link to online skill videos so the kids can learn moves from some of the best street players in the world when they get home.

The launch at Thomas Cook headquarters on the 17th December 2009, saw Irish freestyler Mark Tiernan and Darren Laver Director of coaching for the ISSA undertake a series of demonstrations to the Thomas Cook staff.
