ISSA Creative skill camps in the USA for summer 2009
Last Updated: Thursday, Jun 25, 2009, 10:06
ISSA creative skill camps have been set up to raise the level of skillfull players in Americas soccer teams. This fun and exciting program will not only teach some of the worlds most modern skills but will also give your children the tools for learning, enabling them to think creatively and become an awesome soccer player.
Music , skills and soccer thrills!
Creative skill camps are based around the ISSA philosophy that skill development is an integral base building block in childrens player development. ISSA believe that if you can master the ball at a young age and create a culture of player that is naturally skilful and thinks in a creative manner then a new breed of soccer legends will emerge. Look at the world’s best players and think what do all of them have in common ..... great skill!
A lot of coaches nowadays tend to coach creativity out of children, teaching them by numbers the basics of how to kick a ball, the ISSA believe in letting skill develop naturally using a “person player approach” by teaching children the qualities of great players, never giving up, learning from mistakes, having a positive attitude, developing a winning mentality whilst also looking at player development by creating scenarios to develop skill and playing lots of small sided street soccer games so kids get more touches on the ball and more opportunities to develop natural skill. When children think in this way club coaches are then ready to teach other aspects of player’s development, like tactical play and performance conditioning.
Creative Skill Camps create an environment where kids can make mistakes, where kids develop creativity and most of all they have FUN!
